The Background
A prominent Military Contractor needed to augment their Engineering team to meet an aggressive schedule mandated by their Client. The Contractor had the responsibility to Engineer and develop a complete armament loading system on a very aggressive time line. Adept was proud to assist with the Engineering Design and Development of a High Strength to Size Ratio Linear actuator.
Despite that there is no shortage of linear products on the market today, their performance capabilities are relatively conservative. Therefore, no Off-The-Shelf Actuator appeared up to the required Load, Weight or Size constraints specified for the actuator.

The Results
