“SHOULD I STAY OR SHOULD I GO”

October 27, 2021 by Adept Engineering

(IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHERE YOU ARE, THEN?…)

Data Point Gif

I’ve decided to shift gears and speak to something a bit different than previous blogs. It is centered around a simple yet very important lesson I enjoy teaching and reviewing with my Robotics club students. It’s also taught to all first-year engineering students but I don’t believe enough emphasis is placed upon this straightforward principle. Especially since it’s the basis of all machines, assemblies, and parts. Whereas without the proper implementation, most machines would not assemble or work properly.

Improving Manufacturing Processes with UVLED Light Engineering

October 7, 2021 by Adept Engineering

As an Engineering Consultant we’ve been granted the opportunity to engineer on a large variety of machines and products. For clients that we engineer commercial products, their success is relatively easy to track through conventional stalking. We’re often also given the opportunity to develop additional products while remaining in contact with those clients permitting us to stay up to date.

Light Station Fan DrawingWe also service Military and Manufacturing process clients where – after the Engineering is complete – we can often lose track of the machines and their success. Military clients have an exhaustive testing and approval cycle before a machine goes into service (often taking years) in which we may or may not be involved. Consequently, we only see if and when the vehicle or machine gets implemented into the larger military complex.

VacDaddy Collaboration

August 17, 2021 by Adept Engineering

Here at Adept Engineering, blogging isn’t our strong suit… hence why it’s been a while since our last post. Fortunately, we have been quite busy throughout the pandemic. While I hope this post finds everyone happy and healthy as we emerge on the other side of a tough year. And let’s hope things continue to improve.

Although this is not what brought about this post.

During the pandemic an important milestone was reached for one of our clients which we’d like to share with you.

VacDaddy housing modelAdept has brought dreams to reality for many clients, both within the United States and abroad. Generally, we recommend – when possible – the introduction of new products within the United States. But we understand that this isn’t always a good fit for all business models.

3D Printer Unboxing: Adept Takes Delivery of the Raise3D N2+

September 29, 2017 by Adept Engineering

Adept had a bit of a false start with its previous 3D printer selection. After 6 months of frustration and disappointment, they decided to hit the reset button, do some extensive research with blog and forum communication…and chose the Raise 3D N2+

We will wait a bit before providing a full review (this time). But for now, let’s unbox and set up the Raise3D N2+!

We’ve heard very good things and are looking forward to a very positive experience…

Review of the Leapfrog Bolt 3D Printer

August 10, 2017 by Adept Engineering

Leapfrog Bolt Review

Adept has brought 3D Fused Filament Fabrication, (FFF) in-house and reviews the new Leapfrog BOLT 3D Printer.

The Additive Manufacturing sector is expanding rapidly. It would be difficult to find an industry not utilizing and considering how additive manufacturing could enter into their business model. Engineers have been using these technologies for decades, although they were reserved to the elite and advanced. Many of these technologies still are, especially when it comes to printing in metal. However, printing in plastic, especially by Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) has become quite affordable.
